Canberra High School provides an interesting and challenging Science curriculum.
The emphasis in Year 7 is on the development of skills required

Students in Years 7 study science for 3 terms:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Astronomy
Students in Year 8 study science for the whole year:
- Atoms, Molecules and Chemical Change
- Forces and Machines
- Plants and the Environment
- Rock Cycle
Students in Years 9 and 10 will participate in a range of elective units, studying a minimum of 3 but no more than four semester length units over 2 years.
