Canberra High School P&C
Our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) is a great way to stay informed, share ideas and be involved with our school.
The P&C welcomes all Canberra High families and community members. We are a group of enthusiastic people who contribute to the school and students through the uniform store, canteen, fundraising and more. We work with the school to manage the canteen and second-hand uniform store, provide a forum for sharing information and ideas, and help raise funds for activities, services and equipment.
We are always keen to hear new ideas that support our school and students. If you would like to know more or are able to offer some time or expertise, come along to our meetings or email us: firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can also register for our mailing list to get updates about specific activities (e.g. fundraising, canteen, meetings): https://www.chs.pandc.asn.au/
P&C Meetings are held twice per term on Tuesdays between 7.00 to 8.30pm in Weeks Three and Eight. Join our next meeting to find out about our activities, share your ideas and hear updates from our Principal and Board. For specific meeting dates refer to the Canberra High calendar on the school website: http://www.canberrahs.act.edu.au/our_school/calendar.
A second-hand Uniform Store is run by dedicated P&C volunteers to provide families with a range of pre-loved and second-hand items at very competitive prices. Please contact the Front Office so we can put you in touch with the Uniform Store coordinator to arrange a time to come in. Second-hand uniforms can also be purchased at parent information evenings (e.g. Year 7 information night, meet the teacher evening etc). Donations of good quality second-hand uniforms can be left at the Front Office.
The P&C runs the Canberra High School Canteen to provide quality low cost food options for students and staff. The P&C Canteen Sub-Committee provides planning support and assistance to Canteen staff. We meet for an hour in Weeks Two and Seven each term. Please contact: email@example.com for more information on the this & other P&C matters.
